About Dr. David
A foundational piece of my success in treating and healing is found in the Six Naturopathic Principles as follows:
First Do No Harm
Utilize the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies.
The Healing Power of Nature
Trust in the body’s inherent wisdom to heal itself.
Identify and Treat the Causes
Look beyond the symptoms to the underlying cause.
Doctor as Teacher
Educate patients on the steps to achieve and maintain health.
Treat the Whole Person
View the body as an integrated whole in all its physical and spiritual dimensions.
Prevention
Focus on overall health, wellness and disease prevention.
I take a detailed, patient-centered, natural and holistic approach to bring about optimal wellness and function to the individual. I believe natural therapies should be the first-line defense in treating illness and disease and should be exhausted before pharmaceutical intervention is ever considered. If patients are currently taking pharmaceutical medication, my goal is to work these patients off of pharmaceutical intervention.
I utilize a variety of conventional and naturopathic treatment modalities to best establish optimal health and wellness in my patients. Some of the modalities include Neural Therapy, Ozone and Prolozone Therapy, botanical/herbal medicine, homeopathy, dry needle therapy, naturopathic manipulation techniques, nutritional counseling, and hydrotherapy.
